There is a lot out there that act like that had a few drivers and 1 O/O do it in the past , funny all eventually came back around looking for work , told them the BURNT BRIDGE story![]()

Yeah firing an o/o not such a big thing. he'll go somewhere else and you'll find a better fit for your business. its like dating your just getting to learn the type of person your dealing with.and neither party should waste time if the fit is wrong. Now it's a mistake to take that attitude with a with a tried and true always pull through type of driver. every once in a while they'll be going through something in the personal life and just need some time. You talk to that driver and get a understanding. But If a new guy acts up after 2weeks they'll probably be a problem

Is it possible to hold his check until you get your trailer? Or at least locate it and have someone pick it up. I'm not sure about the law but if you have proof of him making threats, that rental contract can be voided. I would promise him anything (not in writing) so you get your equipment in one piece. Is trailer insured?
