Keyword was long term in my message. You’ve been at it 3 months, the brannd new equipment will help you keep those numbers pumped up though.

I was saying your fixed costs will stay the same but on less miles will mean more per mile to run your truck. Your variable will decrease but so will your revenue.

I really don’t see you running 150,000 miles per year solo on a sustainable level. Maybe I’m wrong though.

No, I have no intention of running 150k miles yearly, but if I do, I do. I was only showing the current cost to run my truck. As time goes on, my insurance wont be $24k year, I can get the trailer paid off in less than two years. I can eliminate and reduce costs in order to balance things out to that $1 per mile running cost, if not less. I also have no intention of keeping this truck past its warranty, as I will make one more truck purchase before I will be full time in the office.

My goal is to run as hard as I can for a few years, small sacrifice for the future. I was doing 3000-3500 miles weekly on average as a company driver, so its something Im used to.

Sounds like a plan man. What truck, engine, and trailer did you get? Extended warranty?
