Oh boy....the driver is doing everything he can to deflect responsibility. It won't happen. He's gonna get in big trouble because he knowingly fouled up. Triton Logistics is a fairly large company in the Chicago area. As far as I've heard, they're one of the ones in that area that actually do it right. It isn't unheard of for companies in that area to make it look like there is a co-driver in the truck. Typically, you hear that from the much smaller 1099 outfits in that area. One guy at the TA in Oak Grove, MO told me that his company redos his logs all the time. There are some companies that use dispatch overseas in that area. It's bizarre, and I don't get it but just how they operate u suppose. The driver should have never agreed to do something that dangerous, and he will be the fall guy. The company will pay an exorbitant fine and life will go on for them.

Driver for sure getting charged, let’s see if company owners stay in the US, I’m betting they already have tickets.

Sounds like the coach driver changed lanes without looking.
Just another example of why I don’t click on youboob links (unless it’s music) and Tik-Tok crap.
Sounds like they’re more interested in getting clicks and don’t care who they trash.Magoo1968, Grouch and gentleroger Thank this. -
It’s just weird because it’s two different time periods like 2022 and we’re in 2024, so it’s like why are we just hearing about this now?
I am curious though what insurance companies do or carriers/drivers do when they’re caught with illegal team driving. What does the USDOT at weigh station due to a driver who is illegally team driving like is it like immediate licensed suspension? Or just out of service for a day sit in time out who knows who cares brush off matterConcorde Thanks this.
