So earlier today opened the hood to check that fan clutch issue I was having. So I touched the wires on top for the ac compressor, the fan suddenly turn on and stayed on, turned off the truck hoping it will turn off that didn’t work, turned the key to the on position only noticed on the dash the fan light is on, anyways I just shut my truck off and went to sleep. Once I woke up I turned the truck on at idle the fan will kick on and off, once I started driving the fan stayed on, got to highway speed it started kick on and then kick off for like 5 seconds then kick back on again. Then after 20 miles it kicked off on for like 30 miles but whenever there is a uphill or if I throttle it hard the fan kicks on, so right now the fan is off but whenever a uphill or whenever the truck has to throttle it’s self hard to stay at cruise speed the fan kicks on then turns off after that. Yeah I know kinda confusing and weird. Remember ac is off the whole time, temperature is at 180. Does anyone experienced this before and where should I look

Could be the twist from the torque of the motor, moves a wire or connection just enough to cause a short.

You mentioned, you turned truck off and the fan stayed on? Or the fan light stays on? Check the connections on your manual fan switch. Could be time for a new one.

Once I turned the truck off and then I set the key to the power only position I seen that fan clutch light on that happened only once. Now it’s what’s triggering it while driving,

The new are ties are for the coolant temp but that wasn’t the issue it was, that sensor on the ac compressor hose
