Wow, what a year so far. We just finished our Welcome Night for new hire orientation. Relaxing night sitting around having BBQ and a couple beers. Last year at this time we had our first driver, Rollin Coal, leasing on. And this weekend will bring us to 15 drivers.
One comment that I heard tonight was that other companies talk about being a family but we really are. Two drivers have their wives with them and our visiting vet was able to bring his wife (who is about to have their third child) and his two little girls with him. Going to be a long day tomorrow going over all the details of how to run a profitable business (and the safety stuff).
For lunch, all the new drivers and family will go to lunch with the Vet so they can ask any questions they didn't want to ask from the "management'. LOL
Tomorrow night all drivers and family will break bread together and relax from the long day.
Sure, tooting my horn a bit but this is how all drivers should be treated. Compared to what so many companies do this really does not cost that much more.
We will be posting updates of the meeting all day on facebook and will transfer all the photos and comments from facebook here for all to see. (Will also link to this thread so non-TTR people can read what is posted here)
I have to thank so many people on TTR for all the help they have given me over the years. Much has gone into this early success and all those on TTR that have help are a big part of that.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
