lol nope there was a disconnect in the conversation there. I don't work for yrc. I'd never work for a union company.

    I'm with Ashley furniture.

I don't know anything about the Nashville terminal so I cant advise. If your cool with the miles and the running more power to you, if you feel like you need a little more hometime then make sure you let your concerns be known. If they ignore you find a terminal that suits you or find a different company if they don't listen. =)

Not to my knowledge, you run under there authority so you pull there loads. The upside I had when starting out was I could refuse loads and had a more power where the truck ran and what the truck did. My terminal has always taken care of me tho as a company and as a O/O one of the reason I am still here is how much they bend over backwards to fix problems and keep me rolling. This cant be said for everyone, ALOT of ones experience here is based on the terminal they are out of, As I have said in alot of my posts about Knight.

As for the title, that comes to me in the mail at the first of the year. Would of been sooner but I stretched it out to have a little extra saved up.

Dude, for the love of god do not give CR England any more freakin ideas. Last thing I need is one backing into a truck stop letting each of his 5 students attempt to put it in a spot with no trucks on either side and still manage to hit something.

I also want to point out, Depending on where you live (Like mid west to the East) there is alot better company's out there to lease from on that side of the states, I make decent for my area but If I lived east this truck would be gone in a heartbeat. Just alot more potential to make better money out there. SNI Choice program comes to mind along with Mercer and Landstar. Im sure other people would throw their suggestion in here for that side of the country.

As a company driver, $100k is doable at some outfits like Wal-Mart, LTL's, and maybe carhaulers but it takes alot of seniority. Gotta start at the bottom. As an O/O, best bet is stuff like over-dimensional, oilfields/fracking, flatbed, government contracts, haz-mat, etc. Gotta haul what the average steering wheel-holder can't or won't do. Or set your sights on becoming a fleet owner with multiple trailers and power units.

After 30 years in this biz, the best advice I can give you is to find something you like to do. I made $90k\yr pulling doubles across I-80 and it was the most miserable time of my life. I was working 12 hour days, running the same route everyday, my blood sugar going up from bad food and no exercise. What good is money if you can't spend it because you're working all the time?!?! You're only young once, get a daycab home everynight job for $50-$60k and enjoy life.

Walmart says their drivers do their resets at home.

Of course you realize you are going to give 30% of that 100k to the government.
