    HeY! :biggrin_25510:

I think I resemble that comment.
    :biggrin_25524:
I'm skinny on the outside, but my inactive brain
is gainin' weight inside my cranium walls, ...... top floor.
When I suggest that my brain become more active, and
cut back on the calories, all I hear is, "DIE, it".
I always thought that was a 4-letter word.

I really wish I could count on Prime interest.
    All I am now-a-daze is a Prime suspect:biggrin_2552:

I have not been in a truck for awhile. Do the driver side have air bags?

Yeah that BMI was a joke when it hit the Army back in I think 74 or 75. We had a guy built better than the guy in "Heart Break Ridge." Actually made him look like a midget! The Doctors went crazy when he was given orders to go to "Fat Basic" which at the time was the order of the day if the numbers didn't work right! They wound up putting a doctor that passed the BMI in the picture next to the Sargent E-5 with a 6' mark on the wall beside them and sent it to the pentagon and got those orders canceled! They also looked at the BMI chart in a different light!

The BMI is a BS way to make something on paper look good but we all know everything that looks good on paper can be trashed as not such a good idea!

But as it's been beaten to death in here it can be the companies policy or it can come down to the person who is looking at working or sitting on the curb because they might have to work at getting some fat off their arse and actually do themselves good by doing so but still, it's their "right" be be a fat arsed slob so who are we to tell them whats good for them or where they will work because they tip the scales at an unhealthy point.

It's their choice to be a lard arse and it's the companies choice to have them on the payroll. Me I don't think they are in the wrong for having a policy thats in everyones best interests:
    The companies
    The drivers
The other employees who have to pay added funds into their insurance policies because someone wants to be over weight when it can be regulated with a little will power.
The cost in hospitalization when they are carried in there from a heart attack or out of control blood clots or any other overweight causes.
We also get to help pay for these in higher health insurance premiums! Gee thanks!

    Absolutely, Baz.
But only when the air bag is On Duty -- Drivin'.
Air bags are, afterall, subject to the current H.O.S. rules and regulations. Physics are also involved in that two matters cannot occupy the same space at the same time. So, while the air bag is at the controls, the air bag has total control.

But air bags are gettin' old and outdated, --- they've been around the block many times already and may not be as effective as they could be.
Air bags tend to transform into a much more potent form within just a few years of baggin' the wind without breakin' the wind. When they reach that level, they graduate from mere air bags, into full-fledged, overly-inflated, WIND bags, and should be approached cautiously from UP-wind, while taking notice of any changes in the direction the wind flows to and from the bag containing wind.

A little insight here, ------ there are also safety features called "air bags" that are designed to rapidly inflate in an impact, thereby preventing any bag of air behind the wheel from leavin' the scene of the incident that saved their air head from certain implosion.

The Big truck truckin' industry has made efforts to make a Big truck trucker as comfortable as possible while doin' their duty. Would y'all believe they now spec' their Big trucks with cuttin'-edge technology that even includes a fireplace, ---- in the bunk area, I reckon.
    Not to worry though.
There's no danger of fire burnin' up the Big truck.
You see, it's an electronic log burnin'.
They don't get as hot. :biggrin_25512:

For those deemed unfit by the BMI program and using a CPAP during a DOT 10 hr break I recommend a new procedure when operating a Class 8 Tractor and Trailer when it collides with another object at Highway Speeds. Usually the driver is dazed and unable to remove his Safety Belt and the 300 Gal Diesel Tanks are leaking right onto the Hotter than Hell Exhaust Pipe. I suggest installing an Automatic Fire Supression System and Explosive Bolts on the Escape Hatch.

I thought all fat drivers had to wear a yellow star on their clothes so we could identify them when we load them in the RAIL CARS.
