what medical condition would cause some one to very neatly park his combination SQUARELY on a crossover? To answer your question, I passed through there when the OD guy was still in what was left of the cab. People that SAW IT HAPPEN were cussing out the other guy on the radio and at a truck stop down the road where I pulled in to take a leak.

But that has little to do with what I said. There are a lot of people on this site that act like truck drivers NEVER screw up. Despite ALL the evidence to the contrary.... why is this?

There wasn’t a crossover there. There are solid poles with wires to block trucks and cars from crossing the median. The only space he could have gone thru was between the guardrail and wires where there is plenty of evidence that a truck went thru it. The force of impact would have caused the position of the trailer. I don’t listen to “trucker said” “trucker heard” I would like to know what the report says about it and so far they are saying “ he crossed for unknown reasons”…

There IS a crossover there.... you can see it in the news story right on the other side of the trailer tandems. I cropped a screengrab of the video. Also care to guess where on I-70 the google maps pic is from?
