NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A deadly crash in Bellevue kept a portion of I-40 east closed for almost four hours Saturday night.
The crash was near exit 196, close to the Old Bellevue Mall. Investigators believe the driver of a Jeep ran into the back of a semi-truck killing the driver of the Jeep instantly. Police are still looking into exactly what caused the crash.

having had this happen to me,.... Mine was not fatal though.

It's the most scary thing I can think of happening to a driver. Getting into a serious accident.

Another reason why the ICC bumper needs to have a mandated upgrade to strengthen them and make them a bit lower to avoid more problems like this.

Oh and ban all cell phone use by 4wheelers. they are the worst offenders not us.
