Yes an ambiguous law that the shooter could use to try and defend himself if he’s charged.

Hopefully the shooter has a good attorney by now and didn’t speak with anyone prior.

I went to jail for threatening to kill a guy who raped my sister.
Someone messes with any of my kids I could care less about any laws on the books.

But that’s me, I’m old and don’t care if I die today or tomorrow.
