Bad thing about there is that it can snow even in April and May.

About I80 from SAC to SLC- yeah, I've done research on that stretch and it can snow there even in April and May.

I hate the SNOW CHI MINH trail in Wyoming. Good God can the wind blow on that road.

:tongueSTARS: Dude, can't agree with you more; had to give up researching that part (for now) it was so dull. Also, isn't NJ where the infamous "gap" of I95 is?

'Gap'? If you mean you will be driving slowly cause 95 winds thru a bunch of metropolis', then yes, it is. At least it does move decently between the south Jersey border and up around Bordentown. Then the 'fun' begins...

Yes it is. The Jersey Pike predates the Interstate system, having opened around 1950. The Interstate highway as we now know it wasn't even conceived of until '56 when the Interstate Highways and Defense Act was signed into law by President Eisenhower.

New Joisee had little need by then or even by '63 when 95th street through N.E. Maryland opened to finish their section of 95, since they would obviously lose toll revenue from their turnpike.

Favorite-I 295 from exit 18 north to exit 29. This means I'm home. LOL.
My real favorite has to be I77 through Fancy Gap. Beautiful scenery through there and you are usually going slow enough to enjoy it.

Worst. Tie: BQE and the Cross Bronx especially on a Friday afternoon in the summer! Screw the engineering feats! They need to engineer a good road around those messes!

I can handle all of the interstates, except for heavy traffic and bad weather. Where ever they are.

Apparently I have not breathed enough exhaust and diesel fumes as I have never been to NYC in a truck or car and do not ever plan on doing either. I live in a state with just over 500,000 population for a reason. :D :D

Yeah I've seen the movie, and I would fit in just as badly as those boys.
