Now you are one prepared driver! Actually, I hope to do the same. I have some L.L.Bean catalogs, and I am impressed with what I see. Walleye mentioned Duluth and they luck pretty good also.

I have a big mink hat made in the USSR. It's old. If your head is cold all of you is cold. I have a very expensive down duvet for the bunk. It doesn't matter how cold it gets I would be warm wrapped up in it. We only turn the truck on in the night just to make sure it will start in the morning. I like snowboarding outfits. They are perfectly waterproof and very warm. I can always find them in thrift stores really cheap especially in the summer. I like leather ski gloves. I keep lots of vasaline on them and they are supple, warm and waterproof. I wear hicking boots on my feet and you could be outside all day at -30 and never have a cold foot. I will load up all my warm gear for when we go back OTR on Mon. and we will get a load to Texas. That's just the way it works. I bring shorts and sandles just in case.

Nobel,
I love down! Hiking boots sound like a good idea - comfortable, durable, warm & dry. Do the ski gloves hold up well with chaining and stuff?
Hope you guys have a good trip this time! -

Flatbedding sounds like it would be hard for an ole woman like me. Not sure I could do it.

My favorite "must have" for winter is my furnace, La-Z-Boy, and big screen T.V. That's the only way I can make it through the winter. That and a trip to Florida.

Don't get much better than that, does it. Might have to throw in a cup of hot chocolate though. -
I just found out my wife is going team with another lady till Christmas so I will be stuck here at home for the next couple of months. I have lots of things to do and will keep busy I'm sure. I will be able to be on the forum lots too. I hope I don't get on peoples nerves too badly.road dust Thanks this.
