    Nobel, I couldn't imagine you getting on anyone's nerves. I will be headed out for my refresher next weekend. Then I will go to orientation and out with a trainer. I probably won't be on here as much then, but I will have my laptop with me to keep in touch as often as possible.

    My winter add on include. My Northface winter jacket. Cant get a better jacket. My iceman winter boots ( Good up to -200 deg f. ) extra socks, New tire chains and bungees more batteries to the flash light and battery powere heated blanket in case of a breakdown in BFE.

    best thing i ever bought for the truck was a 12 volt electirc blanket. $20.00 from flyinj j.

    About 6 years of flatbedding and that is the 1st time I ever done that. Did it again about a week later.... guess my reflexes are getting slow......:biggrin_2559:

    So far I use a military flight jacket to keep out rain, snow and wind. I got mine at a surplus store for $40.

    Also, for gloves I use the cheap leather work gloves, but I bought a box of latex gloves that I put on 1st. Keeps my hands dry when chaining, so they stay pretty warm. If I ever find the old timer who taught me that, I'm gonna buy him a beer.
