I brought that Richardson to cb then got a nestle to Dallas live for Monday 1100 that'll only make about 1600 for the week. But I've had three really good weeks past. It's hit or miss. Gotta spread it around right now.

Uff Da. Ellabell went off easy enough.
Then I went to get my load in Garden City, Ga headed back north. Find the place easy enough but they said my pickup number is no good. Call in and after half an hour or so Tyson calls back and said CS said I was at the wrong shipping office and to go to the office by door 48 (at the other end of the building) Walk down there and that side of the building is vacant. Let Tyson know nobody’s home and after walking around looking for any other place a shipping office might be I go back into the office to see if they know where any other shipping offices would be. There’s been a shift change and the folks in there immediately recognize the number, it’s the number for the sea can the product came from rather than a pickup number . Get paperwork and into a door quick enough and they have it loaded. Loader tells me I’m good, supervisor tells me I’m good.
I got straps on it and got rolling. it was loaded to the back door but only in a single layer. Scaled it and it was very light. Not the first time I’ve seen a wildly inaccurate weight. So I get moving north. Make it a bit over an hour into S.C. and my phone starts ringing constantly. Get to an exit, find a place to park and call back. It’s the shipper. They left half the load off of it and need me to come back. Call Fremont and it takes a couple tries to get someone. Get approval to go back, head back…and get caught in a traffic jam from a screwed up railroad crossing. Finally make it back, get a door and put it in. Had the thought to grab the straps but they said they needed them so I left them. It was unloaded and reloaded in a not unreasonable amount of time (about an hour and a half ). Loader was apologetic and I tried to be comforting. Get it out and she’d left the straps hanging from the wall and loaded the pallets on top of them. Sigh. Managed to fish one out and got another from the side box and got it together and got rolling.
It was 150 miles extra which is good but it made my 70 even tighter and pushed me more than 5 hours back on delivery. Had to beg off the first pre plan they offered me because I was 3 hours short of being able to get a reset while still making the delivery appointment.
So I have a new assignment. So today I have to drop and hopefully hook at Menards in Plano, IL then go to Addison IL and drop and hook then get to parking. About 400 miles and I have just under 10 hours to do it. As long as the traffic gods smile upon me it should be doable.Speed_Drums, MidWest_MacDaddy, dwells40 and 2 others Thank this.
