    Back at it today after being home since Sunday afternoon. Picked up corrugated cardboard in Farmville NC, slightly more than an hour from the house going to IP in Rome GA for a live unload then to Mohawk Flooring in Calhoun going to Pembroke NC for Friday then home again for requested time off for New Years. Christmas wasn't requested, it just worked out that way. Hope it doesn't stay slow, but I think I know better.

    Dropped in Iowa, bounced over to Omaha and picked up a preloaded trailer going out to Gilroy, California for Monday morning. The weather looks good on the trip going West.

    Depends on what fleet your on, I’m on the long haul fleet, in 21 months I’ve been to the Northeast three times. Chicago several times, but In and out.

    depends on the division. Im on the south central div and never go to the northeast and see chicago maybe once every few months. I know a guy on the midwest div that goes to pa and nj once in awhile. He goes to chicago alot more.

    Yep, I timed it just right. I left Council Bluffs at 0300, and hit Lexington at 0615, roads were open. Still a few icy spots, but smooth sailing.
