You might be on the same cruise my stepdaughter and husband are on with their best friends from Chesapeake. They will be attached at the hips.

After dropping in Plainfield IL on Thursday, spent the night there at the Menards DC in Shelby Iowa. Friday morning, ran to Fremont headquarters for my next load for Greenville SC on Monday. Got here to the TA in Duncan SC last night at 1830 to find one solitary unreserved spot. Its mine for the next 34 hours! After I drop, head to Port Wentworth GA for a 1500 live load going to Menards DC in Iron Ridge WI for a drop between Wednesday and Friday. Betting on a Thursday am delivery now.
mushroom1464 and Crusader66 Thank this. -

Crusader66, gntorres61 and mushroom1464 Thank this. -
Stuck at Menards DC in Iron Ridge WI for a live unload. Two hours after I arrived, I get a door, been sitting untouched for the last two hours. Might as well keep me for four more. Time has run out! Today, I am the bug. Head to Jackson WI in the morning for a load to Omaha, then to Council Bluffs for a load to Four Oaks NC then home for Labor Day drive by I presume.
Crusader66 Thanks this. -
No load outta the house today, shippers here in the southeast must be waiting out the hurricane. Again being the low man on the totem pole, the senior guys are getting loaded today, and I will wait until tomorrow....
Crusader66 Thanks this. -
After a great 12 days off it was back to work. I got a load out of Ft. Mill, SC going to Minnesota for Thursday or Friday. Left the house about 0800, I was about 10 miles from the customer when dispatch sent a message saying the load wouldn’t be ready until 1500. Oh well, I had already started my clock, so I just hung out until the load was ready.
mushroom1464, gntorres61, Crusader66 and 1 other person Thank this. -
FCC got me outta the house with a transfer load from Sumter SC (yikes Dorian!) to our Dalton GA dropyard. Picked up without incident as I was still a day in front of the hurricane. Will drop later today, then bobtail for an empty to Rome then head to Acworth for olives and peppers to Harris Teeter in Greensboro. It turned a 1300 mile paycheck into a 2500+. I have to head back home as I have yet another doctors appointment. What if I had really been sick?
ncmickey and runningman0661 Thank this. -
After I got empty I bounced up to Eagan, Minnesota and live loaded a load going to Shelby, Iowa for a drop. Currently in Council Bluffs getting the truck serviced and a belt replaced on the APU aka money pit. I will be picking a loaded trailer in Lincoln going out to Seattle for Monday for a live unload.
gntorres61 and intrepidor Thank this. -
Sitting about 620 miles from my customer in Seattle, I keep debating on driving all the way into the customer tomorrow or staying in Ellensburg (114 miles away), I guess I’ll just play it by ear.
When empty in Seattle Monday I will deadhead 215 miles away into Oregon to pick up a load going to Kansas, nice 2100 mile run.
My buddy Joe that started a month before me here, left for a local job a few months ago, I just found out he’s back. The girls in safety and I had an over under pool on when he’d be back, I had the over 6 months. Welcome back Joe!mushroom1464, Swedish Chef, gntorres61 and 3 others Thank this. -
