FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

I had a pretty miserable night after the EPU failed and the truck wouldn't idle. Premier Care told me I needed a motel, but how was that going to happen at 2:00 A.M. during a 10 hour rest? It got worse when I had to spend a day in a sleazy motel waiting for the repair. I don't think I got breakdown pay, but I did get to be entertained by the characters at the Waffle House across the parking lot and the woman with the court mandated ankle bracelet arguing with the manager while he was telling her she wasn't welcome at the motel any longer.

 

LOL … total Flashback to my younger days… grew up in a tiny town on a skinny road, as was the town just north of us… yup… both Post Offices were on the Main Street… lol

Grabbing a Kawasaki Load in Lincoln heading to Savannah… hoping to get there in time to hang out with the daughter for the afternoon and grab a nice dinner together… I was envisioning getting there late Saturday night but when I saw the details of the load from KC to Omaha, and it wasn’t scheduled for LUL until early this morning, I knew I’d be spilling into Sunday… no huge deal as I got a few things done in CB and still have a half day in Savannah…

edit: looks like I’m reloading there at Kawasaki Savannah and heading up I95 to Moorestown next… been awhile since I ran up the coast on I95… not sure I ran it since being in a Green Truck… but I’m getting forgetful too… lol
