FCC--Fremont Contract Carriers

Got to ohl in dallas at 10:30 for an 11:00 appt. About 3pm they have me slide down 2 doors. About 7 she comes out and said i was mt and my bills in the back of the trailer. I pull up and nothing in the trl besides a load lock. I go inside the bldg into the cage and nobody is home. Lights are out. I can hear a forklift somewhere and couple people talking very faint. After an hr of banging on the fence trying to get someones attn. Disp decided to have days try to get a copy tomorrow or fri. Will try to pick up tomorrow in lancaster then drop it in harrisonville mo tomorrow then reload down the street going to sanger tx on sunday.

Having an issue with my APU.

The last few nights it will just turn off several times during the night. I wake up rather chilly and turn it back on and try to get back to sleep. Rinse/Repeat ... then closer to morning it stays on until I shut it off like normal. I’m well within the 10 hour timer that shuts itself down.

Anyone else hit this issue before?

 

You getting any kind of error message on the screen? Also you can probably ask Shane or glen and they might have heard of this problem before.

 

No error message that I remember seeing but I was half asleep each time... I’ll try to confirm if it happens again tonight.

I figured if I came up dry here, I’d give one of the Shops a call after the holiday and weekend.

I have same unit you company fellas have on star car. did it stop producing power and shut off as well or just heat.
If no heat and no power there is a capacitor inside box under bunk that carrier will change. Notorious for going out.
If knew how how to upload the schematic I would.

 

Attached some troubleshooting steps from manual and maybe give ya an idea

 

McDaddy, just let your dm know you will be idling for comfort and he/she will route you back to one of the shops.

 

I think the APU shuts off and kills everything cause I have to restart the APU again before turning the heat back on. So it must be your capacitor idea.
