Made it home today. A slick spot yesterday in Nashville TN, but was slow enough to regain control quickly. Glad to be home! Spring can't come soon enough! Prayers to Texans, Louisianans, Oklahomans for a quick thaw!

Yep! Called this morning my DM and we are now looking at this Friday to start back out. It’s just great to work for FCC there very understanding.

Today my wife and me woke up to another day without electricity here in Texas and the temperature at -0 .... good thing that we have a small gas stove for camping and quickly made some coffee.

Thing for today look like one of those horror movies from Steven Spielberg... Now the city decided to close the water supply! Went to Walmart and it was closed! Everyone then went to the smaller supermarket and there were no shopping carts or baskets available because there were all taken. Supermarket refrigerators and shelves empty of many food items and we have another snow storm coming down right now. This one is going straight also towards Oklahoma!

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day!
    Be safe everyone!

ERCOT is under fire in texas...People are now demanding a serious investigation into what the heck happened because there’s absolutely no excuse what transpired Louisiana Arkansas and Oklahoma especially Arkansas and Oklahoma had much colder temperatures and had no problems in comparison to Texas with electricity issues… I sure hope many folks lose their jobs over this BS..stay warm as much as possible

Bounced 315 miles out of the house this morning to Chatsworth, Georgia to pick up a preloaded trailer going to Shell Rock, Iowa for a drop whenever I get there.

My daughter lives between Pearland and Alvin, no power for two days. I told her to fire up the solo stove and start burning the furniture.

Did Texas get hit with more ice than the other two states? I mean it’s more likely ice that brought the grid down instead of cold weather.

but ya, I heard millions upon millions of people were without power in Texas.

Crossed I80 and Iowa was littered with vehicles in the ditches ... roads were ok when I can through but it must have been bad before I came through.
