I’d probably be that way, too, now that my mother is gone, if I didn’t have my grand baby. She’s the only person I really need to see on a regular basis. As she grows and understands a little better about my job, maybe I’ll stay out longer. Hubby-not so much. We’ve always had a weird relationship. My son works a lot, and we talk on the phone and FaceTime quite a bit, so I don’t actually need to see him to feel close to him. He’s grown and doesn’t need his mama like he used to (and I’m good with that-means I did my job).

Someday I envision driving for a couple months straight and then park the truck close to some port and take a week long cruise…

As much blood pressure medicine as I take I can’t get in any deeper water then my bathtub let alone a boat . Things start to spin real quick in a boat

only been on one cruise. Wife and I went on one before leaving South Florida. Splurged for the cabin with balcony view and it was so peaceful and relaxing sitting outside the boat enjoying the wind and sounds of waves. But not for everyone.

guess I’ll just have to enjoy a trip in your place

I have autism which automatically causes part of it and then family history. Before my blood pressure medicine was increased I used to ride in the boat with my uncle on the Des Moines River catfishing and yeah I had to give that up.

 

I took my daughter one time and some of her friends down to worlds of fun and oceans of fun there in Kansas City and I got on a ride with my daughter and let’s just say when the ride stopped for us to get off I didn’t stop
