Yes, several drop yard around the Midwest, but don't have a list, the only terminals are in Fremont and Council bluffs.

I think we share a few drop lots in California with other companies. I've heard a few drivers mention something in passing.

IMG_1874.JPG This is a personal best for me since being here, not bad for a 65mph governed truck. I pulled off the exit with 1 minute left on my 11 hours of driving. Made it from Rawlins, Wyoming to the Petro in Vegas.

I left Vegas about 0400 this morning, I made it to my delivery about 0845 for my 1000 appt. When I pulled up to the guard shack there were already 7 other FCC trucks in doors getting unloaded. With this many trucks getting unloaded I thought my chances of getting a reload today might be slim, but just as I was going to head to the truck stop, I got a load picking up 15 miles away, headed to KCMO for Thursday morning.

Delivered in KCMO, and then went over to our drop yard and grabbed a pre loaded trailer going to Arlington, Tx. Delivered that this morning, I only have 3 hours left on my 70, so I'm going to squeeze in a reset and then pick up a pre loaded trailer in Terrell, Tx. Sunday going just North of St.louis for Monday. I finished up the last 7 day period with 3766 paid miles.

I have done a few 550 mile runs to get me back towards our West coast freight lanes, so I would say no, but most of there 1500+ mile freight comes out of Nebraska, the Carolinas, or the West coast.

I'm sitting near Hannibal, Missouri right now waiting on the load planners to get there act together. They bounced me over here once I got empty in St. Louis to pick up a load. I check in, the shipper tells my load was picked up last Thursday. So I'm waiting for dispatch to send me another load.

So yesterday was one of those days that we all have in trucking, where you just keep telling yourself "tomorrow is a new day." After arriving at the shipper and finding out the load had been picked up last week, they finally found me a broker load in Quincy, Illinois going up into Iowa. I loaded down in the caves in Quincy, the difference with this cave system and the one I had loaded at in Linexa, Kansas, is that the cave system is still actively mined everyday. Now yesterday morning before starting my day I had gotten my truck washed, big mistake. The caves in Quincy aren't paved and we're basically one big mud hole. So I got loaded and delivered that this morning. I'm not getting loaded in Sioux City, Iowa with two stops the 1 st stop in Cranbury, NJ and finishing up in York, Pa., a nice 1555 mile run.
