Yup, it's out that way. Just before that hill and the weight restriction if you are coming in from the West, but if you are coming in from the East off of I-44 westbound which is the directions given from the Qualcomm macro, it tells you to take Exit 35 for East Pine Street and head east 3 miles which takes you right through the restricted area lol

It is also a gated and locked at night. There is a combination code for the chain. Not a real big area in the entryway though. Might not have enough room to get a truck off the road. might have to park out on the road with your flashers on. I didn't take time to really look that over though, by the time I finally found it it was Daylight and they were open LOL

You should tell your DM so they can correct the directions or find a better option.

Doesn't sound like an ideal solution.

I didn't think they could find a worse location than the other one, lol. I was there twice, both times had to wait on a train and coming in and out trying to see traffic on that angled crossing was dangerous....had to physically stand up to see if their was cross traffic. Of course we're talking about OK, land of terrible road design and rough roads.

Does anyone know why they changed the location of the Tulsa drop yard?

Not sure, but I think the Company we leave it from moved. I went to the old location and I didn't see any signs with their name, I'm sure that's probably the reason. Plenty of room at the new one though, once you figure out where it is and how to get to it lol. Gravel lot around some shop buildings, we have the spaces on the far west side of the property.

Accidently came across this post and enjoyed reading a bit of your posts! My job title is "otr driver" but im home every day running the st louis to chicago relays but im now being switched over to being basically a self service driver, so instead of having my loads brought in to the drop yard to run up and deliver, ill be running round robins delivering the load in university park IL, reloading to bring home and then take it out to the kc dropyard to drop, grab an empty and head to spring hill KS to pick up a university park load. Ive been here a little over 3 months and believe ill be here for some time, love the company! Only thing ive found that i dont like is that theres no holiday pay, but theres also an option to work the holidays so ive taken advantage of that for thanksgiving next week since the only holiday i truelly worry about is christmas. The equipment is top notch, and the office personal have been amazing, just hit 433k on my cascadia so i dont have to much longer before they bring me to the terminal to swap trucks.

Even though i get home everyday, im still running an average of 2700 miles a week, and that will bump up a tad once i get to running as a self service driver. Love the fact that theyre a big enough company that you receive the perks but small enough to still care about their drivers. I knew i made the right choice when i was in orientation and the president personally came down to meet his drivers, fortunately i was the only one in orientation that day so i had the oppertunity to talk to him for over 30 mins, never once did he try to rush the conversation or dodge any questions, i was impressed with his mentality. Id highly suggest anyone looking for a new carrier, to give fcc a call

I thought that I would have like 5 hours left on my 70 after my last load to SW ATL so they gave me another one before the weekend.

Had to chase an MT in KC and then traffic coming back south burned up 3+ of those hours.

Had to shut down at a Rest Area to take my 34 but at least I got out of the ATL area. I’ll grab my load tomorrow morning and head to IA.

Then back to Omaha to pick up the wife at the airport for a long weekend with our friends in Lincoln and the Company Party.

Does anyone know if we quit using ACT's yard or Caravan trailer in KC?. Just picked up at American Trailer & Storage in KC, we have a bunch of trailers in here. I'm guessing this is a new yard for us? I've been here over a year and never been to this one yet. Just wondering if we quit using one of the others and moved to this one instead?
