Unless you ABSOLUTELY need a specific day off, you can always move up your day to come back out, instead of just taking the extra days.

    cdavis188 Thanks this.

I’m no sheep I can promise you that. That’s why I’m over here at Landstar making 6x a week what I was making at FCC. Instead of whining on an Internet forum, if your unhappy, make a change.

Is that "6x" net, or gross...?

This week, which is my best week to date, after Landstars cut was paid $11643.26 after fuel and fixed expenses what’s deposited into my bank will be $8433.19 (that includes a voluntary escrow I have set up).

If I was ten years younger I would be all over the Landstar Deal. Now Im too close to calling it a career.

I don’t want to be married to a truck either. He’s making some good coin though. Been following his adventures and he’s a smart businessman.

I appreciate the kind words. I’ve made many mistakes over the years, but I’ve always tried to learn from those mistakes, and not make them a second time.

Anyone that survives a truck lease, pays it off, continues to make good money and able to move on to a different truck and doing as well as you are is an exceptional success story. Most would have gave up long ago.

I’ve been away from my truck since just before Thanksgiving helping with my mom, who is 82 and has started dialysis. I’m back to work the 18th. Wouldn’t have it any other way.
