I will certainly pass that piece of info on up to the Powers that Be… (meaning my DM) I know he passed my “venting” on up the chain so maybe they are collecting feedback and looking for options.
Thanks

MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
So from January 01 - March 05, 2022 I took a total of 16 days off (doesn't include resets on the rode that I was able to squeeze in and to be clear, I don't complain about resets on the road if I'm running out my clock and I actually prefer to run that way if possible). I went for hometime twice, so it's not like I'm taking 4 days hometime every 2 weeks or something. I just make it count when I'm on hometime lol.
My most current paystub is ending on March 05, 2022.
Year to date gross: $7,042 (Includes my non per diem CPM pay, my per diem CPM pay, sign on bonus (what's been paid of it, the sign on bonus is spread out over a year), breakdown, detention, hazmat CPM (when I run hazmat loads), monthly bonus pay (if I hit the required incentives).
Now January 01 - March 05 is 9 weeks worth of paystubs. So:
7042 gross / 9 weeks = $782 per week including my 16 days hometime.
If you don't include the hometime and do 7042 gross / (approximately) 7 weeks = $1006
So for the weeks I'm out running, I'm averaging about $1,006 gross per week.
So I don't know. The verdicts still out as to whether I made the right decision or not to choose my current company over FCC and others. I like many things about my company though and this week I'll have a $2,050 gross check because last weeks check was small so that will help my average out a lot too.
But just because I gave my reasons for not going to FCC in a post several days ago doesn't necessarily mean I made the right decision. I think I have to give it a year before I'll be able to make that decision. I'm pretty sure all of you FCC guys have grossed more than 7k during the first 9 weeks of 2022, but then again you OTR guys probably haven't had 16 days hometime either. Though the FCC regional guys have probably made more than 7k gross during the first 9 weeks this year and they will have had 2 MORE DAYS of hometime than me after 9 weeks (18 days for the first 9 weeks of 2022, 2 days off per week).
Kind of curious how I'm stacking up against the FCC guys since FCC was one of the companies that I looked at in late 2021.Last edited: Mar 12, 2022
