I think it just came along with the recent update. I am on the GEOTab, and it's the same way.

Yup, It just started doing that with the latest update. It isn't just you Midwest. It's super annoying

Ok, then it’s system wide. That makes me feel better. Still stupid!!! Like why make us jump that hoop? Oh well… I guess it’s a “new and improved feature”

 

I like it so far. Unlike the QC, it doesn't tend to lock up right when I am trying to change my status, or restart itself multiple times a night, never have to wait 10 minutes for it to start up before I start my pre trip. The only bad points I have found are that I cant listen to messages, so I have to actually stop and read them now. And the need to "certify" a previous inspection is a bit annoying. I have had to certify someone else's post trip before I can do a pre trip report a couple times. Also, the message format is weird, you don't get all the miscellaneous load info, i.e., the delivery window on a drop just shows one time/date, preloaded trailer numbers, and drop # are not shown (like on a Walmart load) My DM has to manually send the info via freeform. Other than that, I like it.

 

What is GEOTab? Hoping this is something optional through your phone or something? I have enough ##### technology in this truck, I want no part of anything else!
