I don’t think they do sign on bonuses, they did just offer a $1K bonus for drivers that in our van division that wanted to switch to out flatbed division.

 

Getting empty in Brasselton, Ga. I had a 0900 appt, showed up at 0730, they put me in a door and started unloading me shortly thereafter. From here I will bounce back up North of Atlanta and pick up a preloaded trailer going to Shelby, Iowa for a drop on Thursday.

 

Dropped my loaded trailer in Shelby, Iowa came back to Council Bluffs and had a full service, Dot inspection, and got my APU fixed (again). Tomorrow I will pick up a preloaded trailer and head out to Sumner, Washington for a Monday morning delivery.

 

So my load didn’t get released until 1430 today, I was already 24 hours into a 34, so I will just finish it off and head out to Washington with a fresh clock.

 

Delivered in Sumner this morning, and then bounced 91 miles to load in Port Townsend, Washington going to L.A. for a Thursday delivery. I5 is still closed near Redding, so I’m going to try and time taking the detour at night, I hear during the day it’s a total cluster.
