So how did orientation go? Are you going to be running regional or long haul? What type of truck did you get?

After I drop near L.A. tomorrow I will deadhead 51 miles away and pick up a preloaded trailer going to Des Moines, Iowa for a Monday morning drop. From there I should get something that gets me back into Nebraska, and get a load towards the house for regularly scheduled home time.

I live just outside of Charlotte so I know the house is going to get tons of wind and rain over the next few days. I wish I could be home, but not much I can do when I’m sitting in California. Luckily I have a tough as nails wife, who will handle everything that comes her way.

Well i was involved in my 1st accident since i started driving 14 yrs ago. I was on us 290 nw of houston yesterday just 2 miles from my shipper when a toyota suv spun out hitting a infinity car pushing her into my driver side. Nobody was hurt. Did break couple of my skirt panels. The guy told the cops that she hit him but all the witnesses said he hit her. Safety already reviewed my dash cam and said it was his fault. In the end the cop didnt believe the guy and said he wasnt giving him a ticket bc of the rain. Now i gotta stop in omaha next week to get these panels replaced.
