Just got a letter back from FCC. They're not hiring from Michigan at this time.

That sucks, must not have much freight up there. Where in Michigan do you live?

I was thinking if it was closer to the Indiana line maybe they would reconsider, because we are always running across 80 in Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

I was thinking the same thing. I have other companies to shoot for, that will likely give me the same excuse. While FCC wasn't my only choice, it was certainly my favorite.

Here in Fremont getting my truck serviced. I also picked up my quarterly bonus check, we get up to .04 per mile for all miles run that quarter. My bonus check was just shy of $1500. I ran just 37,483 for the quarter. Thankfully, they cut a separate check from the weekly payroll, so you don't get killed in taxes.

Picked up a load in Omaha going just North of Denver, delivered that this morning, they tried to find me a decent broker load out of Denver, after about two hours they finally just told me start heading back towards Nebraska. I ended up dead heading 345 miles to Broken Bow, Nebraska. Picked up a pre loaded trailer going to Redlands, California for Tuesday. I was hoping to deliver Monday to get it on this pay period, but dispatch said the load originally was scheduled to deliver Thursday and they are agreed to take it Tuesday. No worries, I'm recapping and might try and squeeze in a reset somewhere along the way.
