Glad no one was hurt, somethings are unavoidable. I know it sucks you now have to get the truck repaired. Did you happened to see the video they showed at the last safety meeting of the wreck involving the Jeep?

I think it was the county. The tow truck driver did call the sheriff office and the hypos just drove by.

Dropped in Des Moines this morning, went 7 miles away and picked up a preloaded trailer and dropped it at our Council Bluffs yard. From there I bobtailed to our Fremont yard and picked up a trailer going to Sumter, Sc for a drop Wednesday or Thursday. After I drop that I will be going home for a few days.

Spent the night at the house Wednesday, got up Thursday and drove the 127 miles down to Sumter and dropped the load, dispatch advised me to just bob tail to the house and they would plan on reloading me out of Sumter on Monday. Had a nice 5 nights at the house, got a lot accomplished on the wife’s honey do list. We even got away for on overnight trip up to the mountains in Boone, Nc.

I bobtailed back down to Sumter this morning and picked up a preloaded trailer going to Holdrege, Nebraska for a drop on Wednesday.

Change of plans, dropped my load at our drop yard In KCMO and picked up another load at our other drop yard 3 miles away going to Reno, Nevada. I’m going to swing by our terminal in Council Bluffs tomorrow morning and get the truck and trailer serviced before heading out to Reno.

Hey runningman0661, I see that FCC runs into Canada. Do you do any of that?

Regardless, if someone has the credentials and is willing to run up North is there much of a demand for that within FCC?

Also....What kind of a percentage of FCC loads are hazmat (if any)?

To be honest I don’t know how much freight we have going into Canada. I don’t run into Canada and have know desire to, as far as hazmat I don’t think we haul hazmat. I never have and haven’t ever seen one of our dry vans pulling a hazmat load.

I got empty in Reno this morning, deadheaded up to Klamath Falls, Oregon 276 miles away, and picked up a preloaded trailer. This will be a two stopper, the first stop in Illinois and finishing up in Wisconsin. With the deadhead it’s right at 2800 miles, plus an extra $75 for the extra stop.
