Live chatted with someone at FCC to find out what starting Pay would be for a 25 plus year driver, no accidents/tickets and get told to call and talk to a recruiter, thought thats what the chat line is for. Does anybody on here have a basic pay scale for FCC they can post? Thanks

It varies on experience, but I would say pretty close to .45 plus an easily obtainable .04 per mile on all miles run each quarter. Flatbed side pays .08 more per mile, Plus the quarterly bonus. It also depends on your work history, if you have had several jobs in the past few years that will affect your starting pay.

I called recruiting and asked, depending on work history .45 to ..46 to start plus .04 quarterly bonus for all miles run in the quarter. .08 more per mile for flatbed.

Yikes. FCC seems like a great company from reading your posts. But that is some really low cpm(i understand cpm isnt everything) but I have 3yrs exp and I'm at .45cpm base pay. Think tops out at .56? Just really surprised to see FCC with such low cpm.

You’re right pay isn’t everything, people stay here because of many different reasons. The culture, the customer base, the freight lanes, top notch, we’ll maintained equipment, lack of micromanagement, etc. They haven’t been rated as one of the best carriers to drive for 8 years in a row by luck.

A company driver could probably go somewhere else and make more per mile, but after 23 years of being in this industry, I learned there is a lot more to a company than CPM.

Yes definitely... When someone has been in this business 20 plus years they get to the point where they want to work somewhere whether left alone to do their job to the best of their ability and not have their hand held.. Companies like that usually are stress free to work for the ones that let you do your job and tell you we're here if you need us..

Thank you runningman0661 for the reply, and you and drvrtech77 are correct, is not all about cpm, its about miles per week consistently for me, and less micro management. I've Been at my current job for 10 years with no tickets or accidents so I'd assume I'd start near the top of the hiring pay scale. Thanks again for the info..
