I did that Waxahatchie run. It’s McLane food service and I drove right past it not thinking they might use shields stuff. Easy unload lots of room.

Just caught up here and enjoyed all the positive comments. Yes, FCC is a great place to run and the Shops are awesome. As a Company Driver they treat me as if I’m writing the check.

Was on an awesome plan, preplan, and stacked load going into the end of last week. Checked every box. Got me back to the mothership for a Shop Visit on Saturday morning then to East Central Illinois for two days of home time and to reset my clocks on the way driving through the holiday heading to Baltimore to drop 0800 on the 5th.

and already have my next load returning west just 33 miles from my drop.

It was a beautiful thing. :)

Oh, I might as well cast my Vote.

    Auto!!!

Took CDL School in a manual but my first green truck was auto and I never looked back. I just never hit the downsides that others experienced or didn’t impact me much.

and one can always switch to Manual Mode as needed as I do often in the hills. But ya, it’s not the same I know. :)

    Opinions Vary. :)

I do get a bit too wordy at times and at other times come off negative or a bit grumpy but just passed the 3 Year mark here at FCC and will be here for many many more to come.

Glad to see you are pleased with your decision to make the jump.

    safe safe.

Oh and has anyone heard from KAIDA-LTL? He went to Orientation and was in a trainers truck and was looking forward to going on the Flat Bed Division.

He seemed super pumped (was texting him a bit) but I haven’t heard from him since and his profile here errors out if you click on it.

hope all is ok for him.

Does FCC still have their flat bed division? Never hear anything about them.

    BigR and bzinger Thank this.

Yes they do. I don’t think we have any Drivers in the Division here but I’m sure they will speak up if I’m wrong.

    Kaida-LTL Thanks this.

I'm around, hanging out and getting a 34 out of the way in the Dallas drop-yard, got my truck on Friday and did a load from Crete, NE to Sanger, TX.

Should be getting dispatched out this morning.
