Glad to hear I'm not the only one the fears heights!
The ones I travel regularly I hate are 80 eastbound at Brookville penn and 80 over the Allegany River at the 44 mm in penn.
Fear Of Height, and going over tall bridges???

There are a couple down around Houston freak me out, as well as 2 old ones that cross the big muddy. One on US 54 (haven’t seen it in years maybe it’s replaced) the other is between Chester Illinois and whatever is on the Missouri side. Just too much hump in their back to suit me
The Railsplitter, Rideandrepair, exhausted379 and 2 others Thank this. -
I've always figured that heights are the least of my worries. If something happens I won't feel it for long anyways. I used to walk wooden trusses at 90' in the air without being tied off, disconnecting the crane's hook and hand nailing the freeze blocks.
But wasps.... ####, that's another story. The Railsplitter, Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
One of the bridges on 78 around Bethlehem made me a little nervous when we were stuck in traffic. It was moving quite a bit, more than what I thought it shouldThe Railsplitter, Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this.

It can be just a lower overpass and you’re sitting at the light or any one of the higher ones. Gets me every time. I blame it on being from California and being afraid of being stuck on one when an earthquake happened and winding up like the bay bridge in the 89 quake or the one in the 70’s somewhere around LA that collapsedThe Railsplitter, Rideandrepair and Grumppy Thank this.

That one that carries the 55 is starting to look kind of suspiciousThe Railsplitter, Rideandrepair and Grumppy Thank this.

The one I hate with a passion is on I10 at Lake Charles, La. They say trucks in right lane only, I say fkc that, give me a ticket. The Railsplitter, Rideandrepair, RockinChair and 4 others Thank this.

Yeah, I agree. I got to say though that I have used that bridge long enough that it don't bother me much anymore. As you noted though, I'm gonna hit that left lane every time if traffic allows. In reality, I'd rather take the less of two evil's & run the I-10 bridge than take the long, high one on 210 around Lake Charles. I never have gotten used to that one. Even though its not as steep, its still about as high & its a LOT longer. The Railsplitter, Rideandrepair, exhausted379 and 1 other person Thank this.

Gotta love it when you are on those bridges with the wind blowing like Billy hell too.The Railsplitter, Siinman, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this.

I had a pick up in lake Charles last summer and almost passed on the load until I figured out I didn't have to cross those bridges .The Railsplitter, Rideandrepair, wore out and 1 other person Thank this.
