Blood Pressure.

Has to be 140/90 or better.

No Hypertension.

180/110 is a absolute disqualifying. End Dot. Anything in between with limits is either A ONE TIME 3 month DOT certifying with the requirement that you get below 140/90 If you do not, you are finished after 90 days no longer qualified.

WHEN YOU LOSE YOUR DOT MEDICAL, IF YOU DO NOT change the Tier One to another Tier like TWO (Essentially disqualifying you from being allowed to do Interstate, Intrastate commerce...) you WILL LOSE THAT CDL. ENTIRELY. AS IN. POOF. GONE. REVOKED by your state. If that happened... you will have to GO THROUGH THE TESTING including big truck driving the tests etc ALL OVER AGAIN with the fees and so on.

I can tell you right now that person does NOT have a CDL does NOT know anything about trucking other than the swallowed myths and BS fed to him and finally the only the one time I ever see 1.25 in my life is after I bought a Freightliner Midroof 120 in 1994 for 41,000 under contract for 4 years. I was to be paid anything higher than 1.50 with 1.10 being a specific break even costs involved in the company that sold me the truck and will teach me how to be a owner operator within 4 years term under a separate contract. That contract includes approximately .20 a mile reserved in escrow against engine failure in one fund and any failure on your part in another fund which will in time accumulate to a awful lot of money you could stand to lose if you need a 30,000 dollar new engine or incur huge costs and liability while out there on the road.

You are essentially medically under the care of a doctor and not suitable to be gone weeks or months at a time.
