I go through Orland quite a bit. That's not a bad section, flat and straight. We will probably never know what caused it.

Just witnessed an accident involving a Fedx and four wheeler on I25 north of Denver. He passed me while tailgating a four wheeler. Five minutes later I see a four wheeler sliding sideways across the highway and off the shoulder, Fedx pulls to the side.......
gpsman Thanks this. -

So far the truck and bus drivers have been declared dead, along with 7 passengers on the bus. Some passengers are in critical condition at local hospitals.

The updated article mentioned that FedEx went to avoid that wheeler that wrecked In front of the fedex truck...regardless..FedEx has some really bad luck...point blank...that is definitely a horrific wreck.

Way to go, fed wrex, you did it again.

while I agree with the sentiment, Fedex has demonstrated they are somehow "protected" (they have paid off who they need to pay off to keep them off their back); otherwise how do you explain ALL of their accidents yet they get Pre-Pass green lights all the time at scales and you never hear about any significant audits and penalties imposed by the FMCSA and USDOT. How can they afford all the high-dollar lost freight they must pay for every year? This one is going to cost them big, though if it turns out to all be on the driver.JRTBud87, Rugerfan and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Silly side thought, but what is this business about taking high school kids on bus trips for college recruiting? I can see a band or sports event, but recruiting? You have websites and parent visits for that.
blairandgretchen, JRTBud87 and KF7WTV Thank this.
