    There are a lot of variables . Do you buy new or used , gas or diesel , the variables I mentioned in the other post . But I can tell you the carriers are starting a rate cutting war to keep the trucks moving .
    With your experience I'd look at leasing on a tractor . The expediter carriers have a real surplus of cargo vans . Straight trucks aren't much better . They always need tractors and tractor owners aren't complaining . If you contact the FedEx Custom Critical recruiter she'll send you complete info on each class of truck from last year - gross revenue , miles run , percentage of time available , etc.
