I know more about Ground & Freight, but nothing of Express.

Our company some of the time Trip Leases to FED EX ground, the runs they give us are scheduled very tight. or as we call it HOT LOADS, Team, stop only for fueling, personal needs. Food and drink are taken along. And one driver is always with the truck it is never left alone. :ile now were doing ONT to DFW, 1411 miles scheduled time 22 hours.

Powder joints I would say your company is lying to you about time frames. If you are running out of Rialto to ft worth or Dallas terminal FedEx Ground allows you a little over 27 hours for that run. Over 1,000 miles FedEx averages at 51mph on the load. I don't know what kind of paperwork outside carriers get but ours will actually show sort times and ETA from the scheduled dispatch time. FedEx is all about safety. They will never ask or tell you to break the law. We get hot loads all the time but we still have the same time to get there as any other trailer.
Davem3TF Thanks this.
