Fedex Freight, I recommend them even if you are a newer driver.

    When I drove for fedex ground and freight my background checks were done in two days....lol

    That is Fed Ex ground that was like this that you may be thinking about. I believe they have turned them down.

    That is FedEx ground. Different company than Freight.

    If you are referring to the head on collision crash with the charter bus near Orland Ca, that was Fed Ex Freight not Fed Ex Ground that was involved in that.

    Good luck. Read the whole thread. Seems like you know what you need to do.

    I pull their freight through Landstar. Some runs are pretty tight, some aren't.

    But none you have to break the law for.

    Are you referring to all the independent contractor operated FedEx "Ground" doubles that always seem to be strewn around on your local interstate after blowing by you at high speed in a blizzard? Those are not FedEx company vehicles (except the trailers) nor are they FedEx employees. They say FedEx on the door and look like a FedEx tractor but if you look closely they say "Operated by ABC Transportation" or whatever name the contracted company name is.

    FedEx Freight is company operated equipment and actual FedEx drivers. I have never seen or heard anything along those lines with FedEx Freight.
