I hauled Amazon trailers around the Dallas Fort Worth area, it was all drop and hook, pretty easy, they have some cool apps that tell you where and when you got to drop and hook. But it was no benefits, but the pay was decent I made like 350 a night, I worked my day job then hauled Amazon trailers from 9pm-8 am.
Fed Ex has benefits and the pay goes up yearly, if you plan to stay long term and gain seniority then you will get the good runs, till then you will be working the docks loading and unloading trailers, or driving load to another terminal, load and unload trailers there then drive a load back to your home terminal. But check Estes, Old Dominion, XPO Logictics, and other LTL’s in your area.Fastbreakstar22 Thanks this. -
Easy. FedEx Freight. More stable company, better training, good pay, decent benefits, etc.

So, since you got no positive reviews of Amazon, you decided to go with Fed-Ex? Seems like a legit way to make life choices...having others make those choices based on their opinions.

jmz, Fastbreakstar22 and HiramKingWilliams Thank this.

My vote is FedEx. Gotta have benefits, you may be young and healthy now, but you never what might happen next week. Start your retirement now and if you are careful you could retire by 50 and go do something else.
