I think Ryder, but I might be misinformed.

I thought there was a thread on here saying Cardinal was bought out by Ryder.

When I retired from the road I was working at Cardinal. That was a year ago December.

I did steering wheel holding/linehaul with Estes. I hope you got a good route.

Estes was straight seniority. Newbs got the leftovers. For me that meant night runs from WSEX, PA to 70-miles out on Long Island.

    Good luck.

Did 2 Dyersburg runs on Thursday. After my second one was complete in Olive Branch I spent the night at the hub. Woke up early yesterday morning and grabbed a shower. On my way back to the truck Linehaul called and asked me when my hours came back. Told them in an hour. They said great, they’d send me a load going back to Nashville. Got the load on my trip buddy, made a cup of coffee and looked it over. Both trailers were ready, got my dolly, hooked everything up and left. They give you 4.8 hours to make the run. Made it with no issues. Well, maybe one. It was raining cats and dogs right after I broke my set down. Because I’m based out of Murfreesboro, they had me taking an empty set back to Murfreesboro. I waited about 45 minutes for the rain to stop, hooked up my empty set, then drove the 42 miles and called it a day. Relaxed the rest of the day, found a little hole in the wall country restaurant that had some of the best fried okra I’ve ever had, then went back to the hub and packed my one little suit case. Right now I’m waiting to board in Nashville. I’ll be home at 1:30.

Yessir. And back. Only when the loads don’t align to get the truck close enough.
