Scratch that. The reviews look like it has gone down hill. The one on I55 in Southaven has good food and you can easily get a set in there right off exit 291 if you ever go that way.
Also a big fan of exit 87 BBQ stand in Jackson Tn across from the Loves. It has truck parking too although a set would be a little more difficult.wulfman75, MidWest_MacDaddy, IH9300SBA and 2 others Thank this. -

Woke up at 0530 in Olive Branch yesterday morning. Walked inside to wash up. On my way out I stopped at the window and spoke with Linehaul. They immediately gave me a Murfreesboro. Went out and did my trip buddy. Found the trailer, hooked it and was gone in 20 minutes. Stopped off at the Pilot in Stanton Tn for a cup of coffee then my phone started blowing up. Long story short, we had 2 local drivers out and I was asked to come to Humboldt, drop my trailer, and do 2 local drop and hooks in Jackson. Was done with that at 3pm, rehooked my Murfreesboro trailer, then drove the 175 miles to the hub. Now getting ready to hook a set and swap it in East Knoxville.

Well it’s very comforting to know that even a 100 billion dollar a year corporation has its share of incompetence. My hours came back at 0400, at 0401 I get a text from my contractor telling me there’s a load on my trip buddy and it’s hot, hot, hot. It was a 53’ trailer going to Champagne Illinois that I was to swap at a meet point in Dix Illinois just north of Mt. Vernon. I do my morning ritual, make a cup of coffee, find my trailer, hook, inspect and am pulling out of the gate at 0430. I beat the traffic out of Nashville and am enjoying my coffee when my contractor calls. FedEx dropped the ball and forgot to plan the other half of the swap and would I take the trailer the whole way to Champagne. I of course said absolutely , but I won’t be able to head back until tomorrow when my 10 is up. He said fine and that was it. 10 minutes later he calls back and told me to drop it at Paducah because I will be needed at 0300 back at Murfreesboro. Did that then hooked a set of empties because we are short on dolly’s here at Murfreesboro. Now it’s rest time the rest of the way. I have an 0300 start time scheduled tomorrow morning.
