I put in several applications online and wasnt expecting to hear anything back from anyone because i dont have the greatest driving record. Well a prime recruiter just called me and asked me about a underage consumption charge that i got that i forgot all about. Im wanting to know is this like a normal pre-hire company or is it like she said the only way you get sent home is for a failed drug test or failed physical. Does this company do all the background checks, dmv checks and such before offering you a position? ive been tentatively scheduled to start on Jan 11th. any advice would be greatly appreciated.![]()

You can get sent home for alot of reasons. One big they look at is if you lied on your application. That shows character but in your case it looks like you just forgot. Make sure they know that. But there's other reasons like bad records that a recruiter may have said ok but the company says no. Some are health related where you'd never think that would ever come up but then you find your self out the door. The best thing you can do is do a self evaluation on yourself and your driving history and if there's any problems discuss with the school before you put any money out. It's kind like the military and going through all the physicals and background checks.

well thats what i was thinking as well until she said everything is checked driving record, employment and criminal history is all approved through the company before they offer you to come out.... i asked and asked again.

You should be ok. But you've got to remember with a company that sees alot of job applications they're going to take the best. Or I should say they take the one with the cleanest application.
