You need to ask in the correct forum. This is for reporting BAD companies and warn others. Are they out of Oklahoma? Seen their trucks before.

Hired? I thought FTC was a volunteer organization?

Yes, this is the wrong forum. They aren't a bad company. I worked there for more than a few years and it is a good place to work.
They are the "core carrier" for Feed the Children which means they do all the Feed the Children stuff, whether it is picking up donations or doing big food giveaways. But the driver's get paid for the miles either way and get extra on special events.
About 80% of the time you're doing broker loads, and most long distance. That is what I liked the most. I did more coast to coast there than I have anywhere else. And there's no qualcomm. You just check in every morning by leaving your mileage on a recording. So if you're going coast to coast, you're basically on your own about a week or more. And nobody bothers you on the weekends unless you're trying to get a load.
Feed the Children, the parent company, is a humanitarian non-profit organization and they have been through some difficult times recently regarding the leadership and board of directors. In fact the board has dismissed the founders. But it is sound financially, and the former president of the American Heart Association has become the interim president at Feed the Children while they look for a new permanent one. Regardless of what you might hear, they are a good organization, and do a lot of the heavy lifting around the world in feeding hungry people.
After Hurricane Katrina I was non-stop going back and forth down there, and over 500 loads in all from FTC were delivered.skinnytrucker and Big Duker Thank this. -
No new info about this company? Hard to meet their drivers... they have only 40 all over the US...
