Felon friendly truck companies

Is he on deferred adjudication, probation, parole, community supervision, or anything else like that? If so then the status of his case might be why he's having trouble getting hired.

Also, insurance companies might have deemed him uninsurable if he was convicted of certain charges (like arson) that they think would make him a risk of loss. I hope that's not the case, but I just thought I'd mention it.

 

Yeah, intent to transport a controlled substance is not gonna look good to a hiring manager. Drug offenses are HUGE no-nos in the trucking business.

 

Doing some research, I found some professions, like a teacher, lawyer, or doctor won't hire a felon, however, for example, a child molester wouldn't be considered as a teacher, but other non-child jobs may consider. While certain violent felonies will never be accepted, like murder or domestic abuse, and rightly so, they will always be deemed a risk. Unfortunately, trafficking is way up there too and while simple possession from 8 years ago seems to be tolerable, I doubt trafficking ever will.

Maybe you can just go solo while he works under the table. There's nothing wrong with a woman being the breadwinner in the relationship. Hope you two figure it out.
