Just saying. -
You couldn't plead guilty..you wouldn't be breaking the law in the state I live(Georgia)
you are legal in Georgia to use force if a felony crime is being committed(on you or someone else) -
Actually reminds me of and interesting thing that happened in rural Minnesota a couple years ago. A driver I know(see him from time to time) has an elderly father living by himself on the farm. He was getting a little concerned about being on the road all week long leaving his father to be by himself all week long... Well, on a particular night a few winters ago... His father called 911 as he seen a prowler on the farm property. The 911 dispatcher told him they were too busy to send someone right away to the farm... The old boy said, "Fine" and hung up... Waited about 10 minutes, and called 911 again. This time he said, "I just called you about a prowler on my property and you said you couldn't send anyone right away... Well, you don't have to send anyone now... because I shot the prowler". Of course, after this the county sheriff, and state police came to the farm right away. (BTW: He didn't shoot anyone). The old guy came to the door and said, "Hey, I thought you guys were too busy to come right away"... as it took less that 15min for them all to show up.
After this, the driver wasn't too concerned about leaving his father at the farm all week long.Last edited: Oct 5, 2014

some of you guys are really judgmental. 10 years is a long time. i feel like he has a better shot than me with a 5 year old felony theft charge.... but either way its looking ugly for the both of us OP I'm calling every big company to see if anyone will give me a chance (0% success) soon I'll have to start going to a few places to see if anyone will be willing to give me an opportunity to get my foot in the door. Hold your head up. It will be done

not really wondering... I'm pretty sure I know why. Not bitter about it either. I did my time. One day your bigoted criticism will cease and all these closed doors will open again. It's only a matter of time. Your condescending tone is of no substance or value. Good try though

Nowa days companies are trying desparately to jump thru some hoops to get drivers hired because so many get turned away but certain things are unforgiving in this industry as they see it,the mega carriers anyways. The small carriers of say 20 or less trks may be more lenient.
