That sketchy work history will rule out a few companies.
Stevens Transport might cut some slack on that though

If they hire you, will send you to a private cdl school and also pay for lodging & meals.

When I filled out my application and went through school, I passed the class and sat down for orientation. I was given a copy of what I filled out plus an extra copy of what their investigator company found out about me and how my dates matched with what I put on my applications.

My dates were not exact with what the 3rd party company found out about me, but it was within reason. So don't make stuff up. I contracted work with the state of Texas for 9 months before being hired on and worked for them a long time. Their investigated company had me listed as working for the contracted company the entire time. But they were able to figure it out and didn't worry about.

But the point is, they do check you out. So just be honest about your background and explain things best you can.
