There were other guys in my orientation that had 9+ employers in their asked time frame (it was 10 or 15 years, I cant remember) and they were still accepted and hired same as me. You just need to be honest there.

Just fill in the gaps when you fill your app out, working under the table isn’t the issue, they are looking for you working as a driver under the fmcsa regs in order to fulfill their obligations.

As for drug testing, if you don’t use, then it don’t matter what they do. Too many people are idiots when it comes to drug testing, they don’t get there is a zero tolerance in the industry.

Your work history will be a problem for you.
Schneider and Werner wouldn’t accept me because of it however Paul Transportation did accept me.

I merely put “out of workforce” where I had a big gap.

Otherwise you sound good to go..

I wish people who make claims about bad carriers NAME the carriers.

They act like they are going to be a target from some mysterious secret organization because they uncovered a super secret conspiracy.

Would you mind letting me know the company name from Salt Lake City?

A few things you can do that will make things a bit smoother.

Put together a job history list. Cover 10 years at minimum.
It does not matter what, just have all the information.
If it was cash or payroll, does not matter.
If the gaps of verifiable employment are large, see if you can get a letter from someone that can verify your situation. As an example, if you had been a care provider for a parent, go to the physician that was providing the medical care.

Go to the drivers license division and have an extended MVR run. Tell them it is for CDL.
This way you know what’s on that record.

You may also want to pull full credit reports.
A lot of companies do get summarizations as part of the background check.

While you might believe your records are clean, better to know for sure. Sometimes information that is NOT yours gets incorrectly entered. Better to find that now than later.

Last; if you can afford to pay out of pocket for CDL school, you will be in a better position than committing to a company contracted school.
Some companies have programs to pay back the cost. Will still take a year or more, you will not be held hostage like a contract.

If your considering paying for your own CDL school, you may want to consider the school at ASU Newport
They have a good program, the cost is very reasonable. Yes, your going to have to go to Arkansas for a month. They can help you with that.

Guess I gotta spell it out.

Black and white plague means the color scheme of said company in this instance.

    Demonym

a noun used to denote the natives or inhabitants of a particular country, state, city, etc.
"he struggled for the correct demonym for the people of Manchester"

The demonym for dwellers of Nashville is Nashvillian.

Gnash is for the biblical reference "the gnashing of teeth".

Simply transpose the 'i' and 'a' in Nashvillian to get Nash Villain.

So yes, the trucking company in question is WESTERN EXPRESS.

    My apologies for the confusion.

p.s. I've always admired use of coded messaging. And it's nothing new since it was used by Jesus in the bible. Cm blossomed during the Second World War and was used extensively during the Cold War. Today its use is popular once again with Q anon posts.
