How do you consider new trks and very upkept trls as bad equipment when I walked out of the trk assighners office I got a 2013 international with 13, 000 MILES ON IT.

Yeah, with NO apu other than that electronic POS apu. No inverters (unless you want to pay exorbitant fees to international/frieghtliner.) Crap E-log system, though this is also true of stevens from what I hear.
You just joined FFE, so I suppose you would know ALL about it?

Well upkept trailers, what are you smoking, dude? A lot of these trailers are literally falling apart because of all the abuse they're put through when new drivers are under them.
The trucks aren't well up-kept either, you have to fight with road-service all day long just to get an ASE certified mechanic to add oil to your truck.
What's more, StayBusy- you got lucky. You came into this fleet just as they're getting rid of the old beat to hell Century class's AND when they're starting to bolster the fleet with newer trucks more regularly. Many of us were put in them while we waited for the `13's to filter down through the ranks.

But hey, why don't you do us both a favor and keep driving for FFE if you like em` so much.

Cabwrecker is correct. The trailers are beat to hell and alot of the reefers can barely keep the temp in range. Dealing with road service sucks, and good luck dealing with weekend/overnight road service or dispatch. I had a reefer breakdown on my a couple of weeks ago and it took night road service 6 hours to call out the repair guy after the told me to park at their shop. They don't answer emails or phone calls and will give you the b.s. story that the computer where down regardless of when the finally decide to answer the phone or the peoplenet.

Yea but sometimes common sense has to take over I havent had that hard of a time getting road service to respond but if its that bad I am well aware how to find a emergency service companys to f I x my problems you just have to be a littlemotivated to help yourself sitting around all day waiting for breakdown to tell you something you already know doesn't help the situation..

I know how to find service companies also; thing is, all repairs must go through road service.

Yeah but why wait for them to find the info they need and things such as tires and other small stuff doesn't always need to be fixed on the side of the road....some drivers will sit there for hours for silly things to be fixed I even had people I know scream and holler cause a check eingine light came on oh my god I need to get it fixed now when it isn't even affecting the performance of the trk...a little common sense goes a long way....

Danger, how was the FFE Driving Academy? Give us some insight on the process that you went through at the school. Also, during the trainer session and your first solo adventure. I am leaning toward FFE myself. Thanks, Coach111

Do you live in Tx? Because you must . Ffe can only hire students from Tx.
