Really??? David is like one of the nicest, sweetest people you could ever meet. Im confused. You must have done something to piss him off. Albeit, the company does favor people with cdls already in program, because theyre easier to teach...but, they're willing teach those who listen and follow directions, and common sense says, standing around yapping with friends when you're there to learn doesnt show alot of initiative. And I agree it's not the best rookie company, but soooooo far from the worst. Trust me, there are alot of worse places you could go.
FFE management is horrible and rude

Miss Sass,
Are you a driver for FFE?If so,how do like driving for them?I am scheduled to start school with them July 5th in Ft.Worth,Tx.Just a bit nervous as to what I am getting into.Especially after alot of the negative comments I've heard on FFE. -
FFE is not the bottom of the barrel. But they are close. Have been that way since 80s. Just now getting into making more off training and slave trade/drivers. If you must go there do your time until you are paroled and if you don't totally hate the trucking industry find a good job with good people in management.

I have also heard of Raider Express in Ft.Worth,Tx.Are they a good company?Just wondering if FFE would be better that Raider?
-
Raider has a horrible CSA score. They almost demand their drivers to run 2 log books. I spoke to as many raider drivers as I could, spoke to their recruiter a few times before I made my choice. Been 8 months and I have no real complaints about FFE.

Thanks Rooster,I really appreciate your feedback.I am ready to start driving somewhere, and I've had a really hard time trying to figure out what company would be best for me.I figured since I live in the D-FW area that I would get home a bit more if I was to run with FFE.Does FFE use paperless logs?Is it easy to get home if you need to get there?FFE is sounding really good to me,but still have a few questions on them. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.I really appreciate it!Thanks again.

Yes, been with them for 4 mo now. The training is exceptional, drivers are actually safe, people help you out if needed and care. My worst week has been 2100 mi and best 3600. It's not the highest pay and the company might be kinda cheap sometimes, but youll get miles if you arent lazy and prove you wanna run. As for the complaints of management, I call ########, but thats just my humble opinion. No ones going to be rude to you unless you are to them first. The only thing I can say bad is they need better reefer units. I was going to just finish my one year with them, but Ive been doing so well and already jumped ship a few times so maybe stay as long as I can now.
