Hell All,
I am new to these forums and just wanted to say hi and let everyone know about how FFE is as I did not see them listed on here.
I began my job at FFE not long ago. I went through there school in Pine Bluff, AK. So far, the company is not to bad to me, a green horn. I will list below the things that I belive are good and bad.
Good
They keep you rolling
The staff will listin when you have a problem. And if you say you are going to quit they will pull out all stops and fix whatever your p***** off about.
Bad
The milliage the figure from point A to point B is sometime 3-4 hundred miles off.
The payroll is really screwed up. I have not recived a pay check since the first week of january. But hey, they say they are looking into it.
You call to speak to your fleet manager, figure your going to be on hold for 10-20 minutes.

So you have been driving for over a month with no pay? I would have major problems with that!
-
WELCOME to the FORUM!
-
Thanx for the welcome! Yes, going on 2 months. It sucks but they recently refunded me some money on things that where stolen from me. All in all I guess it will all wash out in the end.
-
No offense mate, but I was working and running good as you say you are and I had not had a check in nearly two months, I would be livid. They would not be able to get me off the phone or out of their office if I was at the terminal.
-
I "might" go a week with no pay. Going on 2 month's, and they're "looking into it"? There would be a green FFE tractor parked at the entrance to the place......
-
Four hundred mile difference than actual miles? That's obscene.
Thank you. You've convinced me to NOT work for these guys. -
Now you know why they are affectionately known on the CB as
Funny
Farm
Express
If I was working for a company for two months and hadn't gotten a paycheck I wouldn't be working for them anymore. -
Thats the first bad things I've heard of FFE. talked to a few of their drivers before, one lives a few blocks from me. Always had good things to say. *edit*
Forget that... -
I went through there school and if I quit I have to pay 5 grand. Thats why I can not quit. I can not afford to quit.
