The manufacturer may ad to the slider locking rail, but the plate that is welded to is one piece. I have never seen two separate sliders joined to make 1. Although I have only been around trucks for 35 years so I haven't seen it all.

If two sliders are put end to end on the frame there will be a gap in the "track" that locks the fifth wheel. I have never seen a slider that has track all the way to the end mounting plate. Some cutting and welding will be necessary somewhere.
